Car: 86 ta ws6 silver and gun metal
Engine: 305 fi lb9 eng code f
Transmission: 700 r4 with shift kit
Axle/Gears: lim slip not sure gears
noise in rear at 3to 5 mph forward or reverse

i have a 86 transam 305 lb9 tpi it has the ws6 package 4 wheel disc brakes a ttabout 2 or 3 miles per hour it makes a scraping noise in the rear end you can feel it i have looked at the brakes there no fluid leaking from the axel and the rear end is full am taking it to a shop and going to put it on a lift to see it better anybody have this prob before at high speed it not make any vibe or noise

Is your car a 5 speed? I've had the front pinion actually loosen up and grind while moving around a couple of times. Is your rear end leaking at the front seal?

it is a 700r4 trans,its not leaking any were that i can see like i said im taking it to the shop ,to see it better the sound is like the wheel is rubbing metal ,i checked that ,even changed the wheels still same sound i looked at the brakes nothing i can see i hope i get it to do it with it on the lft theni , can see it hopefully ,might be the brakes but not know yet any other sugestions will be apree has anybody else have trouble with the lmtd slip rear ends ??its 4 wheel disk ws6 package .
