Help with ZF6 throw out bering
Help with ZF6 throw out bering
Hello
Im installing a ZF6 on my SBC 2pc crank and im using a Quatermaster flywheel and 3 disc 7.25" clutch ewrything with that is sorted.
Problem is that the stock throw out bering works reversed it pulls on the pressure plate insted of pushing on it.
Im thinking of 2 ways to solv the problem
1 is to build a new throwout fork thats monted on the other sid of the input shaft on the bellhousing but thing is that i hawe a magnesium one and whelding on it is not an option. fairly easy fix but if option 2 is better....?
2 her is what i wold prefear to do buy a hydraulic release bering and just mount it in place but whar do i get one ?
Sorry for my bad spelling

Re: Help with ZF6 throw out bering
pretty much. the zf6 doesn't have(or at least i didn't think it had) the clocking on the bell housing to be used in a thirdgen. they were used in the vettes. most here when they upgrade go with tko's or t56's.
