Engine: stock 305
Transmission: stock
Axle/Gears: stock
will it fit
i have a 92 firebird w/ 305 auto. can get a 86 camaro w/305 5-speed. i want to swap the 5-speed to my firebird. is it a direct swap. thanks.

Everything except the flywheel. You will need an 87 or newer flywheel for the one piece rear main seal engine.

another thing to think of...in '88 i believe they had a second generation of t-5 transmissions, they had better internals for the most part. up to you, but you may want to look for a newer 5 speed manual tranny. like i said up to you and your budget.
but yes as stated above thats all you should need. It's good to get a donor car thought so you have something to pick from as you'll need the entire hydraulic system.
