Posi Problems...
I have an 88 Firebird formula 350 and the Posi traction has been acting up. No noises, runs smooth and everything. But when I punched it only one wheel spun. Same with powerbraking, only one wheel spins. What is going on?
Re: Posi Problems...
Yep, you got the infamous and all too common, 9 bolt posi problem. If it only recently started to slip, you might be able to fix it by shimming the clutch cones. There's a write up on how to do this in the tech articles section here. Thread Starter

Could I just upgrade gears? If so, what are my options?

Also, the wheels switch off. Sometimes the drivers side spins, and sometimes the passenger wheel spins.
