so i have a 2.8L V6 fuel-injected firebird and i was thinkin of keepin the same engine for now..cleanin it up n a lil bit of mods n then droppin a 350 turbo tranny wit racthet shifter in it..good idea or bad?? an suggestions?

 

th350 will not bolt up to the 2.8. the iron duke was the only thing that was factory in a thirdgen smaller than 8 cylinders that a th350 will bolt to without some type of adaptor.

if you are sticking with the 2.8, why do you want to change tranny's?
