axle shafts, spline area - good enough to use?
I'm (still) rebuilding my rear end. I'm looking at my axle shafts and wondering if they're toast. The outer bearing area (aka wheel bearing) journal seems ok, but i'm wondering about the splines. They seem... chewed up.
Here's a few pictures. Is this normal to be a bit jagged, or are these on their last legs, and worth replacing? I put the interior trim screw in there to see scale. Very close up with macro stuff here.

Rear is a 1982 7.5" 10 bolt. I blew up the auburn last year, replaced it with an open temporarily, and now i've put in a detroit true trac, and 3.73 gears. Just about to slide in the axles, and i'm having second thoughts.
Any info is appreciated.

The pics are corrupted. They don't fully load

Damn, stupid POS FTP upload crap... Must be doing too many things at once.
Alright, should be fixed now.

They look pretty normal to me....
Note that there is very little difference between the "active" part of the splines where they've been engaging the side gears, and the part that is untouched and still freshly machined.
