axle play

how much in/out axle play should there be on stock c-clip axles? i just changed over from drums to Baer clam 12" discs and it seems like there is alot of play in the axles causing rotor to caliper contact.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: axle play

Should be around 1/8".

If it's more than about 3/16", get new C-clips.

Re: axle play

could the axle bearings have anything to do with the play?
