Clutch wont engage...
I have a v6 camaro with a 5 speed... I cant shift very well and it has a really loud grinding sound when I put it in reverse... just out of curiosity... is there any way to bleed the clutch sytem? because my father told me that sometimes when air gets in there it wont engage completely... if not then what do I need to replace?

Re: Clutch wont engage...
you probably mean that the clutch won't DISengage. Reverse is not syncronized in the t5 transmssion. If you put it in first gear to stop the clutch disk from spinning before putting it in reverse it should solve your problem. Remember "first before reverse."
There is a bleeder screw on the slave cylinder where the line connects to it. Follow bleeding instructions in a repair manual.

Yeah... sorry bout the typo... thank you for the info... I did do the first then reverse thing... still did the loud scrape sound... I am hoping its just a little bit of air and not the whole clutch and stuff... thanks.
