I was driving home and soon after i put it in third gear it just poped out of gear with a clunk sound. Now i can put it in 3rd or 4th and there is nothing there, the car doesn't accel at all. It wasn't a loud sound and didn't grind at all. Alittle b4 this happend i had eased out on the clutch and floored it once it was out and spun alot but let off right after i shifted into 2nd didn't make a sound at all when i went into 3rd or 4th then. Btw its just a stock ho 305 with headers and full exaust nothing special.

Any advise would help thx.

 

Sounds like the 3/4 shift fork broke.

 

Well wasn't the shift fork, the output shaft snaped.
