i recently purchased a high gear lock up switch [locks converter in od. only] from superior solutions ,and was all ready to hook it up when i read an article about this eventually burning up the converter from overheating it !!!any body know if this is true ??? im running an aux.tranny cooler inline with factory cooler in a 1988. i just dont like the way it feels in 3rd with the converter locked up is why i want to put a switch in thanks.
