Help With Ring Gear Tooth Pattern (Ford 9")

Hi, I would like to know how you guys think this pattern looks on this 9" ford rearend I'm setting up. We have had it out a few times, and we can't seem to get the howl out of it,it's the worse on deceleration, but can hear it slightly on acceleration. We bought a T&D Machine Pinion Depth Checker, and it shows it needs .048" shim everytime we measure it to get it to the 1.022" pinion depth scribed on the pinion, and that is what it has in it,but still howls,so I figured I would post a couple pictures, and see what you guys think, they might be a little blurry. The backlash is set at .0085". This is a Moser Ford 9" rearend in an 86 Trans Am with 3.70 Motive Performance gears, and a Detroit Tru-Trac. What do you guys think?

The picture on the left is the drive side, and the picture on the right is the coast side. The pictures are way to blurry,it's best to not click on them.

See if you can post some better pics. From the looks of those, it looks like your pattern is too far out on the gear. (backlash)

almost looks as if backlash too little(too tight),heeled on drive and too close(deep) on coast
