POSI or not?

I have a 1989 RS and it had the L03 till this winter... but when i would drive it last summer it would NEVER do a one wheel peel. Not one. and i hear tons of RS's having that problem. is it possible that i have a POSI that the previos owner put it? or can my limited slip be not working right?

Take the cover off and look, if you really want to know.

Re: POSI or not?

Take a pic and post it; there are people here who can tell you. Make sure you use the flash, and that it shows the carrier's innards, looking inside the little window in the carrier.

While you're there, make a point of counting the ring & pinion teeth, and/or finding the stamping on the edge of the ring, so you know what gear it has; since that's likely to be something you'll eventually be curious about as well.

If you don't know what it looks like do a little research. Also for your education you are writting about a LIMITED SLIP rear and not the slang term Posi.
