I wanna launch harder out of the whole and i'm gonna be adding some power as well. what are the limmits or the stock ten bolt? any parts numbers on upgraded axles or anything? Generally when you beef up a rear end what in the rear end are you beefing up?

Re: stock 10 bolt

A brief search, or even just reading posts before posting, would have turned up this answer to this extremely redundant question, from a few days ago.

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tran...p-7-625-a.html

As far as "how much power", that's AT LEAST as redundant. There's people that have tore those things up with a 6-cyl, and there's people running deep 11s on them. It's all in how you drive it, how much traction you have, and your luck of the draw.

Re: stock 10 bolt

yeah there is no definite known limit

each instance is unique

run it and if it breaks then you will know it was not strong enough

no one can really help you much more regarding 7.5" axle strength

i have seen some put up with way more than they ever were designed for

and some i have seen fail under less power/traction then you would think could make them fail

axle condition

traction

tire diameter

torque
ratio/carrier series

among so many other factors

good luck

You feel big inside talking like a snob? Quit crying, don't post if your just gonna complain. I did a search and didn't see that. Every topic in an internet forum is gonna be covered time and time again. If they weren't there wouldn't be much to discuss.

Re: stock 10 bolt

You feel big inside talking like that to somebody trying to help you, demanding that everyone else spoon-feed YOU specifically because you're too lazy to go find the same copy of the same answer that's already been given to the last dozen people that asked THE SAME redundant question? Do you honestly think I, or anyone else, has NOTHING BETTER to do than to type the same crap over and over again for each person that asks that same inane moronic question, day after day?

I don't have to help YOU, or anyone else for that matter, AT ALL, if I don't feel like it. I'm not here to get reamed about not bending over backwards far enough to suit YOU.

Have a nice day! Catch me sometime when I'm not in such a great mood, and I'll tell you how I REALLY feel about being talked to like that.

Your apology for being a jerk is accepted in the spirit in which it is given.

Re: stock 10 bolt

Yea that would be great i would love to get that number. Fellow rochestarian pulls through eh...

Other dude, obviously you have nothing better to do man. Internet forums aren't for the hard working busy ppl at work... I just find it funny that your the type of guy that knows something and looks down on everyone else that doesn't. It isn't hard to see through you. You obviously act that way because you think ppl prais you for knowing more then others. Kinda sad really.. Acting like a know it all on the internet gives you an ego boost? Please tell me what you really feel. better yet just find interest in another thread.

Re: stock 10 bolt

Ummmm..... no.

I'm more the kind of person who learned all this stuff the hard way, back before Al Gore invented the Internet; and I feel like it'd be good to pass along some of that hard-earned knowledge to those who need it, so they don't have to suffer through the same trouble and expense I did when I was going through the school of hard knocks.

The correct response from you would be something like "I'm sorry for not actually reading the questions other people have already asked to see what other people have already had to say about what I want to know, and then for getting attitude when my fault was pointed out gently to me. Thank you for directing me to a thread with the information I want that was just posted a couple of days ago, just a short ways down the page, that was so easy to find I didn't even need to do a search, all I had to do was read through the titles of the threads for a page or 2. I'll make a point of doing that before asking a question that I now see gets asked every day at least once and always gets the same answer."

See, that wasn't so hard for you to say, now was it?

Re: stock 10 bolt

I wasn't aware of all your pain bro lol Give it a rest...

I did a search and didn't get my questions answered, so i posted a thread for further help.. Much faster to just post a thread and have ppl respond.. Theres a guy like you on every forum and site. just don't post a response it's that simple. My question wasn't very redundant, it got me a link and a phone number to a shop in town...

I believe the proper response now would have to go something like this....
" shut the **** up you irritating snob... Your life isn't hard and no one owes you ****. Get over your under developed social skills and learn to communicate in society.. I don't need to hear how posting on an internet forum is hard and tiring for you, and i don't want to listen to you wine. shut the **** up and get your **** together!" Thats more along the lines i was thinking...

Re: stock 10 bolt

One of these guys that can't even have his juvenile "entitlement" attitude without using foul language and getting censored by the message board...

Have a wonderful day!! I hope someday you grow up and learn to be thankful to people who help you, and to be respectful of the fact that they're taking THEIR time and GIVING it to YOU, and to be a good citizen about how you use and abuse other people's generosity. Since of course, they have the choice not to be bothered helping you out next time.

Have a WONDERFUL day!!! And yes by the way, YOU'RE WELCOME for the assistance, even though you behave a rude jerk and don't have the common decency to say "thanks".

Re: stock 10 bolt

Yea it's always nice to be helped. especially when your belittled and guilt is dropped into your lap.. dude get over it, your a shmuck haha... I woulda been polite if you didn't refer to my question as redundant. Calling me lazy was accurate, but out of line none the less... Now run along and work under your car in an unsafe manner..
