tranny and limited slip

i have an 82 camaro and i was just courious on how to tell the difference between the turbo 350 trans and the 200c trans i thought i had the turbo350 but then i found out that the 200c is the same size so im lost lol and how s h i t t y is the 200c

does anyone know a place that sells the stock limited slip units because i cant get this one tire fire to hook up lol

You don't want that garbage anyway.

A quick, cheap, and dirty way to get posi into your car, is to find the stock rear out of a LS1 car (98-02 Camaro/Firebird V8); and get a set of these axles right here. Keep in mind that if your car has a 2.73, 2.93, or 3.08 gear, this won't work; it has to have 3.23 or higher. If you have those other crap gears, you'd do better to just swap a whole LS1 rear into your car and forget about the 82 stuff altogether. Only thing with that is, then you'd need 4th gen wheels because the 4th gen rear is longer and requires different wheel backspacing as a result; and you'll have to do a bit of minor fab work of some kind to hook up your car's SAE brake lines to the 84-up metric ones on that kind of rear.
