Difference Between Street/Strip & Pro Street?
I have a high horsepower street car and I want to keep it that way but have the transmission to back it up. ProBuilt has two different setups.
Street / Strip
and
Pro Street
Obviously I can see the hardware difference but will the pro-street still be street friendly? As in my driveability will not be affected if I go with the Pro Street? Thanks.

Pro Street is probably set up with different tolerances. Not designed for high mileage and should be rebuilt every few years.

Ok, so for someone who puts miles on their car, the Street/Strip setup is probably better? I put maybe 6-9K miles on it every summer.
Re: Difference Between Street/Strip & Pro Street?
The main differences in the Pro Street is the additional clutch to the 3-4 pack (9 total), and the use of the HD steel sleeve in the input drum to keep it from breaking open. It does not shift any harder at part throttle, just added clutch capacity and durability.

Thanks.
And if I already have a TransGo shift kit, I probably don't need the transgo seperator plate from the rebuild kit, correct?
