Re: strange noise

pay attention to what speeds and gears you hear the sounds at....i had a problem where i thought it was my wheel bearings somewhere that were bad....then i noticed it was loud in 1st, quieter in 2nd, nothing in 3rd and then it came back for 4th.....then i pulled apart the diff. cover and nothing, checked the wheel bearings, nothing....pulled the tranny pan and there was a crap load of metal and that was the end of my trans lol

Re: strange noise

vasquezmrysvll, thanks for tipp.
i checked the nuts, maybe the reason is a too rusy nut, on the other wheel side the nuts arnt so rusty like this here a picture

for example the other side:

i driven today 120mph at germany for 1hour, and the sound was still there
the sound comes arround 20mph.
when i acclarate the knocking is faster, it dont depands how fast i acclarate.
