where can i buy a spacer for my 3:23 gear to go in place of the 2:73 i checked ebay and ther was one for like 40 bucks i dunno if other places sell them cheaper

 

That's probably a fair price for one. I'm pretty sure they cost more than that through Summit or Jegs. Of course, if your 2.73 carrier is non-posi, you could just pick up a used, 3 series, open carrier off ebay for probably $20. I see them on there all the time for dirt cheap since not too many people are interested in an open carrier.
