Weird 3rd gear in T5 problem

Weird 3rd gear in T5 problem
Can upshift into 3rd just fine. Smooth as butter.
I cant downshift from 4th into 3rd; I also can't pull out of 3rd and go back into it. I HAVE to downshift into 2nd and go back up. Gear is "locked out" and shifter won't go in. Trans runs great in all gears, this is the only issue.
FYI: WC T5 w/ roughly 60K behind a stock 305.
Any ideas?

Sounds like your 3rd gear synchros or the sliders are bad. Time for a rebuild.
