Axle/Gears: 3.73 Eaton Posi
what fits??

What other vehicles have a rear end that will bolt in directly and give me a performance upgrade from 2.73 open diff?

Any third or fourth gen rear is a bolt-in, though you may have issues with master and proportioning valve (I understand the fittings in 82-83 are metric), depending on whether you want drum or discs. You'll have to search for the ratio you desire, and, of course, you may have to change the drive and/or driven gear in the trans if you wish the speedo to read correctly. A search will provide more info. IIRC, Al Haase has done the swap in his early 80's car.

I might just go for a fourth gen with 3.42 gears. I have 3.73 posi now, but i want a spare rear.
