350 turbo trans vs 700r4
Which transmission is better? Where do i get parts to install a 350 turbo into a 85 trans am?

Here are some kits to do the conversion. Also keep in mind you will need a new driveshaft. I would trade you all my stuff if it wasn't so trashed. I have been wanting to go the opposite direction and get overdrive for a while now.
As to which is better...700r4 is more costly to build and ultimately might not hold as much power, but it has a more street friendly first gear and an over drive gear. For the most part the th350 is Barebones strength for cheap style transmission.
