whats bthe normal tranny temp for a 700r4? im thinkn its gettin to hott slips when weathers hott and drag racing. thanks

Same as every other automatic transmission. Heat kills trannys. Operating temperature is 180-200 degrees.

When drag racing or installing a converter anything higher than a stock stall speed, add a big cooler to remove the excess heat.

hey u seem really good with trans. im having a prob w my tranny not shifting till 3000rpm level. i put a kickdown valve in my 700r4, but it started doin the bad shifting before i put it in... is it my t.v or is it goin out the door on me?
