Hey guys, so I decided recently to start saving for an iroc, so i joined the forum just now, and i wanted to know. I am dead set on using a manual transmission, but i heard somewhere that the stock T5's cant handle rough driving even with a 305... would it just be worth while for me to drop a t56 in on a 350? or get one with a shot motor, and crate out a killer engine and drop the t56 in that? Or would it be fine for me to sit pretty on a 305 with the t5?

Re: engines and transmission
ok well your logic makes no sense in your post so i'll add this..

get a t-56 and build a 355 or 383.. do a search on this forum and you will find EVERYTHING needed to swap in a t-56, etc.. the tremec TKO transmissions are pretty decent as well.. look into the tko 600.. its the strongest tko
