just did a transmission overhaul in my garage and replaced the clutch release bearing that i thought was creating the grinding but wen i put the tranny back in the car grinding continued. im thinking it has something to do with the bellhousing because that is only part i didnt realy tear down and overhaul except to reposition the clutch to accept the tranny spline
