i have been tossing around the idea to put a manual tranny in my 88 IROC. it has had a 700r4 all it's life, and i miss the feel of the manual tranny. a buddy has an old muncie 4 speed tranny he will let go cheaply with a flywheel and bell housing with it. the other idea is a t-56. i know that will be an expensive and time consuming project. either way i go i know will be tough and take some cash. still though... this is not something im going to do today or probably not even this year... just down the road a little or when i get the cash.

the car has a 355. 650 holley carb. richmond 3.73 rear end. the rest is pretty much stock.
