V6 WCT5-to-V8 WCT5...
If i was to get a world class T5 for a 3.4L v6 could i just change the case and put all the internals (gears, etc...) inside a V8 style case? would it work?

The other way around, the v6 case will work on the v8 but not the internals.
The spline count and length of the input, 2nd gear, 3rd gear, and cluster are not interchangeable between v6 and v8 and would have to be replaced to make a v6 useable behind the v8.

I am going to get the Super T5 kit, so those will be changed with he kit... i just ask because the v6 trannies are cheaper, and easier to find than v8 wc t5s...but if i got the gears, mainshaft, cluster, etc...would i be able to change put them into a v8 case or are the shift rails and everything else different too?

All the 88-92 W/C T5's use the same parts other than the input, cluster, 2nd and 3rd gears. The 5th gears are also different between the v6 & v8 but should interchange. 93-95 would also work if you also change the 1st gear. You just have to match the gear set to the motor.
The case, tail, mainshaft, synchronizers, forks and rails are all the same.

i tought the case was different since it has the 60 degree v6 bellhousing pattern... but if i was to get the super t5 kit for that trans it would work with a v8? without having to change the case?

not true, the '93 and up t-5 has a different bolt pattern for the bell housing to case than the earlier ones do.

Re: V6 WCT5-to-V8 WCT5...
so i would have to change the case as well? would all the parts tuck nicely into the V8 WC style case? it is a v6 WC trans from a 1994 3.4L Camaro...

87zjeff is right, my bad, the case did change in 93 so you would need to use the 88-92 case to make it work
