Upgrading to Vette tranny components

I'm putting a new tranny in my car and I'm want to make it like a Vette tranny. So far I know that I need these parts:

8642079 Corvette Servo Piston
8673039 Corvette Servo Housing
8673948 Corvette 3-4 upshift sleeve

Is there anything else? I've heard something about a Corvette boost valve, do I need this too? Does anyone have the part # for it? Thanks

OK, I did some searching, and now I'm up to:

8642079 Corvette Servo Piston
8673039 Corvette Servo Housing
8673948 Corvette 3-4 upshift sleeve
8634940 Corvette Boost Valve
8647351 Seal
8639164 Corvette Spring

I think that's it isn't it? Does anyone have anything to add?

A B&M TransPak is the way to go w/TH700. You can put the other stuff in, too, but not absolutely necessary. If you put "Street" version of transpak in, you'll pretty much bark the tires in first and second and come close in 3rd. Nice and complete kit. I'd do the Transpak first and if that's not enough for you, put the Vette stuff in. Actually, some of that Vette stuff can cause problems with shift overlap/pressure falloff rates, etc. Trust me, max-out the TransPak and you will shift harder than you thought imaginable. Keep the directions for when you want to make it shift mellower, put it that way...

Also, am I going to be able to do all of this myself? I know how to do the servo and sleeve, but where exactly do the boost valve and spring go? BTW, the tranny will be out of the car while I'm doing this.

B&M is the way you DONT wanna go. always hear bad stuff about them,, if you want a shift kit for your 700r4 get a trango. you can get the shift kit and vette servo from http://pro-built.net/. email him.

Stay away from the B&M shift kit. I was talked into it by a so called "racer". I also installed the corvette stuff and and now the car shifts way to fast. Stick with the transgo, or get to know someone at a tranny shop, they are usually the most knowledgable when it comes to modifications

B&M kit is cheap, spend the money and get the transgo kit..
