86ROC,700r4,245/50/16's tires,3.23rear gears switched to 3.73 but mechanic never changed trans gear so speedo off.Which gear do I need,Thnx.

The grey 15 tooth drive and light blue 45 tooth driven should work pretty well. Sorry I don't have part numbers for the gears. With a 3.23 rear you should already have the grey drive gear so you won't have to change that, but pop the sleeve and drive gear out and have a look before you go to the parts counter. When you go, take your old sleeve in with you, you'll probably need to replace it to match the new driven gear. Some 700R4 tailshafts take a long-nosed sleeve and some take a short-nosed sleeve. Comparing the new one with the old one is a better way to tell you're getting the right one than trying to remember which one you have at home and getting the wrong one. Ask me how I know this.

Make sure you know whether your speedo is mechanical or elec. before you goto the dealer. I had to special order the part, and naturally they ordered the wrong one.
