What differences are there between the 700r4 and th350 crossmembers?

What differences are there between the 700r4 and th350 crossmembers?
A guy with a TH350 has a nice dual exhaust system and I was going to have him make a duplicate for me, but his didn't looked like it bent enough to clear my crossmember...Is that because the 700r4's is lower to the ground than the TH350?
