I have an 86 TransAm. I just dropped in a 350. I am having tranny problems. It is shifting very late in 1st gear. Around 4K. Then it has trouble shifting in overdrive, it will only do it if I let off the gas. I wondering if this could be a TV cable problem. And where i could locate it. It's a 350 TPI. Thanks.

sounds like the tv cable so pull it out a few clicks(2 at a time)until you get it where you want it.I'm not sure if that is explained right so make the cable a little looser not too loose though.
