How hard does your 700R4 shift?
I have a completely stock LO3 with an automatic transmission. It shifts very hard sometimes. When I punch it, it will spin forever then it finally will get going. When it shifts from 1st to 2nd it spins the tires again. Is this normal? Just wondering.
RPO = GU2 (2.72 gears I think)

I have a 2.8 w/ the 700R4 and mine shifts very smoothly. It was rebuilt less than 4000 miles ago though. My old tranny was kinda rough. I abused the hell outta that thing though so that might have been the reason.

I've come to realize that I'm gonna have this car till it pukes for good, b/c I'll never be able to bring myself to sell it.

Transmission: A4
Mine slams in to gear. I mean its bad, I'm think its going to need a little help soon it has 120,000 miles. I can get going and floor it and when I hit 2nd the tire break loose, bad tires dont help ether.

Stock, it shifted like a regular car. Never scratched going into gear. After the rebuild and shift kit, it shifts firmly around town. Not harsh, but firm. At full throttle, it goes a little sideways when shifting into 2nd, and 3rd is firm, but never chirps. Definately wouldn't want it any other way, they should come from the factory like this.

When its cold and it shifts under WOT, it just about puts my car sideways. But after it warms up, but its not like neck snapping firm.
