i was just wondering how long it takes to install a set of 3.73s in my 2.77 borg warner rear end. im scared of taking my car anywhere now and leaving it cause when i took my car to get a shift kit they kept it from 8 in the morning till 4:30 in the afternoon and when i got it back over a half of a tank of gas was gone but i didnt look at mileage before i dropped it off. they prolly didnt do much drivin just dumped the gas flooring it abunch. needless to say the engine locked up 2 weeks later and it only had 101k miles on it. anyhow, im just curious how long it takes to install some new gears. thanks.

3.73s are for 10 bolts and will not fit a BW 9 bolt. You'll need the harder to find and more expensive 3.77 gears. Installing gears is not something easy. It takes a while and requires a high amount of precision setting them up. If you have never done it before, i suggest you take it to a reputable shop.
