Ive got a 89 camaro and im assuming it will have the 26 spline axles. i bought a 28 spline Auburn Posi. and im looking for a whole r.e to fix up with the posi to go in the car. I found a guy with a complete r.e out of a 91 camaro. Should this be a 28 spline r.e.? also should it have disk or drum brakes? If this helps i think his car had the 305 i believe. Also one more quick question, are the 28 spline's stronger than the 26? Thanks alot!

 

91 would be 28 spline, 28 spline are stronger, could be either disc or drum.
