T-5 install problem...need help

Im in the middle of a t-5 swap and i ran into my first problem. when i go to install the tranny, i cannot get it to slide all the way into place. it stops about a half inch from bell housing. i used an alignment tool with a dab of paint on the end of it and it goes all the way back to the crank. is it possible that the fingers(not sure what to call them) on the pressure plate are holding it back. let me know what you guys think.

Try to install the slave and push the clutch in a bit, should slide in after that.

Re: T-5 install problem...need help

the two pedal braces go on the studs that come through the firewall holding the master cylinder in place.

Well it works.

I got almost all of the swap done. I took it out yesterday and today and drove it around and other than the sh***y 2:73s in the rear, it works great. Now i just need to find a connector for the back up lights and put the console back together. Well worth all the headaches
