3.42 or 3.73? Any advice would be great!

Hi Fellow mates,
I need your expertise and experince as to what would be the best gear to get.

Currently I have a 1990 IROC-Z with 5-Speed:
3:08 gears, 18' rims w/255/45/18

I want to get a great all around performance. I like to drive at around 80mph on the freeway. Will going to a lower gears drop my top speed on the highway.

Thanks guys!

Tommy

Go with the 3.42's. They will help your acceleration out and you will still get about 20mpg on the highway.
