TV Cable Corrector

Anyone with experience with the Sonnax AS1-01K TV Cable Corrector?
Is it worth to install this rather small device?
Or will it destroy my trans in the end..??

Re: TV Cable Corrector

i ordered mine 3 days ago and just got it today. i put it on but i cant get my tv cable adjusted correctly. ive got and edelbrock carb with the geometry correct bracket mounted on the linkage. my shifts from 2-3 are hard but my 1-2 are still too soft. i made some one click at a time adjustments but thats the best i got it. any advice?

Re: TV Cable Corrector

If you find that when the TV cable is overtight, that the transmission shifts better, but you cannot keep it adjusted this way because you lose the adjustment when you floor it because it pulls the TV cable out. This is what the Sonnax TV cable corrector is for. This is to allow more line pressure at the lower throttle openings, while not pulling the TV cable out at WOT.

Clear, thanks!

My trans is shifting (much) harder, at somewhat higher RPM's, after mounting this Sonnax spring.
Does it harm the transmission in any way, do you think..??
