i have a 87 camaro that has a crate 350 and a t-5 manny trans. i have 3.23 gears in it now an was wondering what would be a better gear swap to go with 3.42 or 3.73,s i have heard good and bad about both. Any help would be great. thanx,

I would go with the 3.73, you have a 5 speed so your top speed wont be a problem and going from 3.23 to 3.42 isnt going to be much of a diff. I went from 2.73 to 3.73 and picked up 6 tenths in the quarter mile.
