So the story goes:

When i bought my car i had the clutch replaced with a Zoom MF clutch and apparently they didn't resurface the flywheel correctly, so upon engagement of the clutch it would hit a high spot on the flywheel, (and at 1000 rpm thats like a 1000 slaps to the clutch per minute, in addition to the squeak i was hearing, so i took it to a second shop, second clutch, same Part # and they replaced it. The Squeak didn't go away, but it engaged smoother. I did read the Technical article about the squeaky picvot ball and i did what it said to do, but sure enough the last 5 times ive done it, it will last for about a month or so then squeak is back. So ima just replace that ***** ******.
This should be straight forward right? i tried to loosen the old one and i must have put well over 250 ft-lbs on that sucker and it only loosens for a quick jerk, only twice. i finally gave it a rest for the night.
Yes i have tried penetrating fluid.
Yes i was *loosening and not *tightening.
Yes i have the new one and it is a standard thread.
On the diagram it shows it going in from the bellhousing side...
Any ideas or do i have to start taking steroids

I have broken 2 wrenches, and the impact gun has no effect...

the only thing i can think of is that if there is a nut on the inside that someone isn't telling me about...

I ended up buying a breaker bar and some CRC freeze off. It worked like a charm!! However, when i loosened it passed the threads it dawned on me that it wasn't gonna come out from the bellhousing because of the retaining clip on the fork to keep the ball stud positioned correctly.
So i greased it all back up and tightened it and im gonna return the new one tomorrow.
Nothing like having a whole thread to yourself!!! Yawn.

Wow.......my cluth (mechanical) has squeeked for about 25yrs.......I think I'm allmost used to it....
is it the same noise like in that video? The Technical article will help you fix it but in a month or 2 the same thing happens.

Your sound was like a ticking noise.......I just get a squeek in the pedal bolt and all the other worn out connections.......w-d40 works for about a week or so....there is also a grease zerk on the frame to engine shaft that rides on that ball stud. Your hyd. clutch prob. dosen't have the same stuff.
