Are thirdgen posi units rebuildable?
I heard someone say a while back that they were not. Is this true? If they are, is there a good place to get a rebuild kit? I am talking about the posi itself (I am not looking for a overhaul kit for the whole rear with gaskets, bearings, and shims). Thanks,
John

about all there is to replace is the clutchs and maybe the spiders. i'd go to GM dealer for parts. may be cheaper to just buy another posi unit.
