Engine: 5.7 TPI L98
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: stock
transmission mount
here the problem i have bought three new mount in a short time and have broken them all its on a 91 z28 with the l98 engine and the 700r4 tranny few modifications such has new exhaust msd ignition and a shift kit. i would like to know why is it breaking so much is there a better mount that i could get that would just fix this problem??

what type/brand of mount are you currently purchasing? Also what type of driving are you doing? I.E. are you putting it in neutral and revving it up to drop into a gear, do you do alot of burnouts? Possibly the shift kit is shifting too hard for the type of mounts your currently using.

You don't say if you were using OE rubber or after market poly. I've never broken the poly.

well its just the oe rubber and i do drive it that hard at all never rev it up in neutral and drop it in gear and sometimes i will be a little heavy on the gas
and where would you find the aftermarket poly mount?
