10 Bolt Drum, Disc, Same Housing?

Are 10 bolt housings equipped with drum brakes the same housing as disc equipped housings? I have a 10 bolt with drums, will the caliper brackets from a 10 bolt or even a 9 bolt match up to the ends?

Your comments are greatly apreciated

i think, but don't know for sure, that the backing plates are differant for disc and drum.

The housing itself is probably the same. But you can't easily swap the disc setup over to tha drum brake housing. The axle hubs have a different diameter (larger for drum version). The backing plates for both are welded to the housing. I have heard of some people with welding equipment doing the swap. But it definitely isn't an easy bolt-in swap.
