I'm considering purchasing an '88 GTA that has a 5 speed out of the car due to it needing synchros. I'm not very knowledgeable about the T-5, and not very good at turning a wrench What would be the process/cost and where to actually buy the synchros? Or would I be better off getting a T-56 if I decide to buy the car? And if so, would I need a different wiring harness? Just looking for your educated opinions here on TGO.
