I have been reading adds for a t-5 tremec tranny for a replacement of my T-5... is this worth it. ??? also, what would it cost to get a HEAVY DUTY rebuild on my stock T-5... what is the potential to swap an automatic into the car... what ELSE would I need to change ?? thanks guys

Before you do that, Click Here and then Check This Out. I wouldnt waste money on the Tremec T-5, its basically stock and is rated at the same torque level as the stock T-5.

This might be the ticket for me ..... I've just blown my 2nd T-5 in my TPI 350 / T-5 converted RX-7

I was thinking maybe going with a T-56 but this might be a better option for me since I already did a lot of work to get the T-5 in my RX-7

Anyone have any experience with the G-force T-5? It sounds to good to be true

According to the techs I spoke to at G-Force, the rebuild kit is $950 and the complete tranny is $1950.

So nearly $1,000 for labor and a core to rebuild then. Hmm....the kit sounds nice. I definitely want a manual in my GTA, but that's just a sweeter sounding deal than the T-56 swap. Nill fabrication, just bolt it up and off you go.

Too bad I could make a penny look rich.

wait so for 950 bucks i can get everything? i get all the gears and stuff i need, and i just need to put it together? i wonder if we can use the same clutch and driveshaft yoke. if this is 950 and it cost me 300 to get it installed thats still cheaper then the tremec.

Wasnt it you who just posted something questioning whether or not this kit was a scam?
