Here's what I did, but it's a little messy if you do this by yourself...

Disconnect both lines at the radiator.
Start the car and put it in drive for about a second.
Which ever line the fluid gushes out of is pressure.

If you have a friend with you it's a little easier but still messy. HTHs

Most companies just use gravity to expose the liquid (antifreeze, trans-cooler, etc) to the cooling air, therefore your bottom is your return.

well it's a little more complicated then that. my trans is laying in the garage floor right now. i need to know what's in and what's out to run a line to a remote oil filter and then to a sepereate trans cooler. i'm running stainless line and an fititngs and as much as they cost i don't want to get it wrong, plus i want my filter and cooler to work like they should.

ede... i just replaced the return line in my 74 camaro with a TH400 tranny.. in the restoration catalog the lines as a pair are 80 flippin dollars, so i was talkin to my brother in law about it, who has a few more years experience than i do, he laughed and said 'just go down to pep boys and get a pair of the lines for 5 bucks' so yea, the gravity idea makes sense, the bottom is the return line(as in the radiator bottom line and the bottom on the tranny). i got a 60" line, but its kinda long so i had to make a few extra bends so it'd fit, dunno if the set up is the same on the TH350(the lines being on the same side of the trans and whatnot) but you might wnat to get the 50" line, your choice
