My car's going to the dealer in two weeks to get the transmission rebuilt, (T5). I'm gonna put an aftermarket shifter on it but need to know the differences between the different models. What is the difference between the Hurst Competition/Plus and Billet/Plus, besides the materials. I want the one with the shortest throws. Any advice on which of the two is better or if I should get a different brand. I want to keep it stock appearing but decrease the throws by as much as possible. Thanks

 

I've tried asking the same question lately, but no one will answer. I don't know if it's ecause no one really know, or if it's that there is no difference. What do you say guys?
