Bypassed the computer... TV adjustment or lockup???
I installed the new carb and bypassed the computer. I took it for a spin and here is the results... It shifts around 3K rpms and does so with authority (hard shift). When I got on the road, it would shift 1st, 2nd, 3rd, I never went fast enough for 4th... and when I took my foot off the peddle, the rpms would stay high. Is this normal? Is this because my convertor isn't locking up? Is it REALLY bad for the tranny?
