Max power for wct5 and 7.625 rear?
Max power for wct5 and 7.625 rear?
What is the most power that anyone uses in front of their wct5 and stock rear. Not just max power for a week or two but daily driven for a while. I have a mild 383 with 445 horse and about 460 torque. I just aquired a 90 RS with a bad 305 but rebuilt t5 and new clutch. I am putting the whole drivetrain into my 82 camaro. I am not looking to go race but just something to drive around in. Yea or nay? Should I just keep the th350 in my 82? Any info would be well appreciated.

Just for cruising around in, it should last quite a while depending on how many hard WOT burst you put on it.

Just driving around it will be fine. But the minute you start racing, its a ticking time bomb.

Nah...no racing. I don't care about burning out tires. Too expensive to do that anymore. I already have this engine in my 82 and just want something different in it transmission wise. Maybe putting this in WILL keep my foot off the gas! Thanks for the info.
