Clutch not disengaging
Alrite so i just got done putting a t5 in my 84 camaro. I used the hydraulic clutch setup but for sum reason it doesnt want to disengage. The transmission is from an 91 camaro. Can anyone give me any advice as of wut mite be the cause of it not engaging?

Re: Clutch not disengaging
I'm having the same problem. From what I've been reading try bleeding the hydraulic unit(search the posts for instructions) and check to make sure the pilot bushing is in right. I bled it a few times with no luck. I took it all apart and am in the proccess of putting a new clutch fork and pivot ball in. The ones I got were worn pretty bad. I took everything off and re-aligned it. Hopefully it will work when I am done.

That worked. I put the new parts in, re aligned everything and she works. Shifts nice, I love it. definitely glad I made the swap.
