THIS IS CRAZY NEED ALITTLE HELP

OK,Im new here and I need some help with the T56 tranny.I was wondering if it will fit the same as a powerglide (same bolt pattern). Now heres the crazy part and why I was needing to know.I have a 1999 Mitusbishi Eclipse turbo pushing 500 crank HP and the trannies in those things arent worth a sh*t.Bushur racing sells an adapter plate for my car that works with a power glide. What Im doing is taking my motor out turning it longways, putting a 9in rear under it and bolting the T56 up to my motor IF the bolt pattern is the same.Any help would be GREATLY welcomed thanks.

If you are serious, the powerglid and T56 have the same bolt pattern. all smallblocks do. the only problem is bolting it up to the flexplate. seems like a lot of domestic work in an import car goodluck man, though many may flame ya Its nice to see american influence in jap cars rather then vice-versa
