I have a couple of friends in my town they are all diehard mustang ford freaks,typical! They are willing to bet me money that no thirdgens came with the wc t5. I really hate these people. I hate my town all the young kids are anti gm but they are always gawking at them! I really need solid proof like serial numbers or something like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kevin

I saw a borg warner repair manual at a tranny shop that had 2 thirdgen sections, one for non WC and one for WC, but this probably wouldnt be proof enough for them. BTW, I am a doctor and one of my favorite diagnoses is "too stupid to live!"... this may be appropriate for your F@rd friends.

i believe the WC was used in 88 and later cars. i also believe the WC takes automatic trans fluid instead of gear lube. now if i only knew for sure or could find something in writing.

Gee I don't know, what trans did I have again? oh yeah Worldclass T5, what was I thinking.

Mustang 84(?)-89 WCT5 265lbs

Ford used the Worldclass spec internals first, but did not use stronger gears till 2 years after GM. Now play nice, I near those Blue Ovary Boys don't like to be picked on.

yea it just really irratates the hell out of me. ALL these dorks try to find something wrong with my f body. They are always saying gm junk and bla bla bla the mustang is even killing the c5 in the scca racing or what ever. Man I am so sick of it. Although I had the ultimate revenge when this kids 14,000 dollar 302 chunked a oil pump shaft with only 8,000 miles on the motor. Why is it that the f body has such a bad rap as being white trash cars.I hope I can get some proof. I want to make them look Like an AHOLE. Kevin
