Ive been reading, some of you said its a piece of Cake to rebuild a T5, I have a WC T5 and want to rebuild it I know where to get the parts but I dont know what manual to get that shows how to rebuild the tranny. What is the best Manual and where can It be found?
i've never done a t5, but have done several saganaws and muncies. if it's the same you'll need bearing seperators and a press. for a manual i'd look at Motor or Chiltons.

I rebuilt mine without a manual. RB gave me the specs for the mainshaft and countershaft. You need a press with a bearing puller (clamshell) to change the synchros. If you are simply doing bearings and seals you wont need the press. Make sure you are not in a hurry....did mine in one day (removal, rebuild and replace) i ran into a few snags and didnt finish until 6am the next day then had to drive to Boston (120 miles)...the RTV wasnt even cured!
Also, make sure you get synthetic ATF. WWW.5speeds.com sells rebuild kits.
